Serving Lake Heritage
Get help with mold in your home.
Homes in Lake Heritage can develop mold when humidity, leaks, condensation, or other moisture conditions persist. Lower levels, enclosed areas, attics, and spaces around plumbing are common places for problems to show up. We provide remediation tailored to the actual affected area.
If you notice visible growth or an unexplained musty smell, call (223) 747-0235 to discuss the property and what you have found.
Lake Heritage is a residential community built around a 154-acre artificial lake about two miles south-east of Gettysburg, with roughly 2,150 residents. Of its 2.08 square miles, about 0.23 is water. The lake's outlet drains into White Run and on into Rock Creek. Living beside that much standing water means summer humidity and groundwater are a permanent part of the picture rather than an occasional problem. The community spans three townships at once: Straban, Mount Pleasant and Mount Joy.
One thing worth knowing anywhere in Pennsylvania: the Commonwealth does not license or certify mold remediation. There is no state board and no state exposure standard for mold in indoor air. The Pennsylvania Department of Health says as much in its own guidance, and it also sets out where the line sits for doing it yourself, roughly ten square feet if nobody in the home has asthma, COPD, a pregnancy or another health concern. Above that, or if anyone does, it advises bringing in a contractor.

We serve Lake Heritage as part of our Gettysburg-area service territory.
